My journey to become a pilot and flight instructor came later in life, specifically at the tail end of my twenty-year active-duty career as a Machinery Technician in the U.S. Coast Guard. From Maine to Alaska, Massachusetts to Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, my family and I had a great time in the service. However, it was time to retire and move from sailing on the horizon to flying above the horizon!

I decided to take a discovery flight to experience what it felt like to fly the plane rather than just sit in a jump seat. Needless to say, I was hooked! Fast forward a few years later and I am now a certified flight instructor teaching at CHI Aerospace!
