Congratulations to Andrew K. for completing his first solo this week!
After a few laps around the pattern with his CFI Mikey, he was informed that it was time for him to solo. Andrew fired up N271VA and taxied behind a C-130H to the runup pad.
Andrew completed two touch and goes and a full stop, as Mikey and Tina watched from the PDA Operations truck. He then taxied back to the hangar.
Andrew hopes to join Air Force ROTC in college and pursue a career as a pilot in the military. He is also volunteering at CHI for the rest of the summer. Keep pushing Andrew! Awesome work.
