Congratulations to Sarah K. for completing her first solo today!
Sarah K, a student of CFII Scott Forte, impressed Chief CFI John Tiplady during her pre-solo stage check, giving her the green light to hit the skies by herself. The winds were calm and the overcast layer made for a turbulent free morning.
Sarah taxied out to runway 34 as CFII Scott watched from the hangar. She completed one stop and go and a full stop taxi back! Sarah did a great job in dealing with routine Portsmouth traffic and her approaches were awesome. Both landings were “greasers”, leaving the CHI staff impressed.
Awesome job Sarah! We’re proud of your hard work and we can’t wait to see you tackle the next stages of your training!
